American Colonists: Terrorists or Patriots
They are terrorists to me and this is similar to Skyrim's side plot, which is the Stormcloaks against the Empire. This also would be similar to the Taliban in Afghanistan fighting against the US. For Skyrim, the Stormcloaks would be the Colonists and the Empire would be the British. You could choose which side you can be on and I choose the Empire. Through out the plot, I would go around and kill all Stormcloaks deemed to be threatening to the prosperity of the Empire. In the end, we get to destroy the Stormcloak's leader and restore peace in Tamriel. Now for the Afghanistan side, the Taliban would be the Colonists

Hi Chat, the comparison between the events leading to the American Revolution and the Skyrim game are valid, I'm sure. However, this post is incomplete in the explaining how exactly the two are connected, or how the Taliban is connected. When you add some more details, your position and the multiple connections will become much more clear, I am sure.
