Metacognition

Metacognition is knowing what your knowing, which could be useful for problem solving. I think that metacognition gets in the way sometimes, like during class time a while ago where we had to speak our minds, I confused myself a bit by messing up what i wanted to do and what my mind was telling me to do, so I'd rather not use it or think about it anytime soon.

  1. Chat, I appreciate your honesty about both the possible application of metacognition, and the drawbacks of the 'Think Aloud' strategy. The strategies we used are only some of the many possibilities; would you be willing to stay open to other strategies?
